Here’s two tables, courtesy of eMarketer, that put Mobile in perspective. Big perspective, that is.

The first shows Morgan Stanley’s outlook on the growth internet-enabled mobile devices, which the firm says will grow 120% in the next four years.

That growth is driven by a high-level of consumer desire. Pew Research released a study that shows that a majority of U.S. adults believe “handheld devices are a change for the better.” The younger you are, the more likely you are to share that sentiment. The dividing line appears to be 50. Younger than 50 and mobile is all good; older than 50 and you have reservations.

Here’s Mary Meeker of Morgan Stanley presenting at the Web 2.0 conference last year. A large portion of the presentation is focused on mobile.
