Wishing everyone a safe and healthy Happy New Year. A special thank you to everyone at NCI. In 2009 you demonstrated remarkable strength, perseverance, energy and good spirits. My wish for all of you is that in 2010 your labors bear fruit. I hope that we all remember the lessons of the past year and that we are put in a position to help others grow, build and recover.
Last year, Network Communciations, Inc., The Real Estate Book and The OSR Group initiated a major study of the media and marketing practices of real estate agents.
In a six-part series, I’ll share some of the insights and conclusions from the research. The data is rich and informative, so bear with me while I dig in, get dirty and try to sort all of the different points out.
The research serves as the foundation of a communications campaign that we’re currently running across the country to agents telling them about the smart marketing habits of successful agents. Our feeling is that times are tough, the best agents are going to focus on doing things that help them stand out in their business, and whatever information and confirmation we can supply…we should do it.
Here’s the breakdown of the six parts in the series:
- The Big Picture: What We Learned and How We Learned It
- Opening the Wallet: What Top Agents Spend on Marketing
- Choices, Choices: What Media Top Agents Use Most
- Success from Focus: What Top Agents Key Goals Are in Marketing
- Measuring Up: How Top Agents Measure Their Success Against Their Marketing Goals
- The Top Brands and How They Do
The first post will be coming soon. I’m looking forward to hearing your comments.
