A calendar note for anyone who’ll be in Minneapolis September 21: I’ve been invited to deliver the luncheon keynote at the Niche Digital Conference sponsored by Carl Landau.
I’ve know Carl since the early 1980′s when he had started up Computer Language Magazine. He’s one of the most irreverent and lively marketers I’ve ever encountered. The invitation is flattering and I’m hoping that I can measure up with something interesting and engaging.
I’m thinking of making the main focus of my talk the ways that a niche media brand can use social media technologies to connect with their audience in multiple ways. Four or five slides, some examples and hopefully a few ideas that people can take away with them and work with.
